How to train an AI agent on your business (without writing code)

The most common fear about AI agents is simple: "What if it tells a customer something wrong?" It is a fair fear. An agent that does not know your business will make answers up. The real question is not whether it will make a mistake, but what happens when it does.

Step 1: the agent learns your business

A good agent starts from your business's own information, not a generic template. In E26 the agent is built from two sources:

• A short interview with you: what you sell, to whom, at what price, your hours and your policies.
• Your website: your services, your FAQs and the tone you use.

So from day one the agent answers in your words, with your prices.

Step 2: you correct, it learns

No agent is perfect on day one. The difference is how you correct it. In most systems you go back to the settings, find the right instruction and rewrite it. In E26 it is simpler:

1. You see an answer that is not quite right, for example "we're open on Saturday".
2. You write the correction in your own words: "Closed on Saturday, open Saturday night from 8 PM."
3. The agent learns from the correction and does not repeat the mistake in later conversations.

Every correction is kept in a "what the agent learned" list, so you always see what it knows.

Step 3: it improves with every working day

As the business runs, corrections add up and the agent gets more accurate. After a few weeks it knows the business like a long-time employee: the current prices, the exceptions and the questions your customers actually ask.

What the agent does not do

A good agent knows when to stop. When a conversation needs a person, such as an unhappy customer or an unusual request, it hands the conversation to you with a summary instead of inventing an answer.
